Client Leadership Council

The Our Own Lives Client Leadership Council is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who use our services. Our mission is to listen, lead and provide guidance to enhance the services offered by Our Own Lives, ensuring that every person has a say in how they are supported.

Comprised of up to 10 representatives, the council was established in 2021 under Community Connections. Council members are elected annually in August by those enrolled in our services. The council plays a crucial role in advising the Board of Directors on the organization’s direction, activities, messaging and strategy. Their input was key in shaping the mission, vision and values of Our Own Lives.

Council meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at 1:45 PM. Our Own Lives believes that you are the expert in your own life, and the Client Leadership Council ensures that your voice is at the heart of everything we do.
